But I've replaced my timing chain assembly in the past two years, had the vanos solenoids replaced, and had the timing checked. So I'm not sure what's going on. This could be an aftermarket part, a dongle left in the OBD2, or a malfunctioning module. A battery will not fix this (although the reboot of changing the battery might). Do not buy a battery (yet).. Coincidentally (or not) it is only throwing cylinder misfires on 5-8, which I believe is the driver side/aftermarket solenoids. It has a light throttle miss at lower rpms and about half the time throws it into limp mode (Drivetrain malfunction). When not in limp mode, it seems to have appropriate power.

The can starts and runs just fine most of the time. However, about every 10th or so time it will stutter and won't start (cranks for 5 seconds and stops). It will do the same thing the second time and start perfectly on the third. I will also randomly get the Fuel Air mixture too lean code, but the car runs fine and builds boost just fine as well.
